2. Job Description: Store Assistant / Future Talent

As the “face” of the brand, you are responsible for more than just a transaction. You are there to “bring the brand to life.” This involves high-energy customer interaction, maintaining the aesthetic of the store, and ensuring the checkout process is seamless and friendly.


3. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Providing “exciting and engaging interactions”—going beyond a simple “hello” to truly helping customers find what they need.
  • Till Operation: Accurately processing transactions, handling cash/cards, and promoting the Woolworths Rewards (WRewards) program.
  • Store “Stretching” & Merchandising: Ensuring shelves are “stretched” (products pulled forward to the edge of the shelf) and looking immaculate at all times.
  • Sales Support: Using product knowledge to inspire customers to buy, thereby supporting the store’s sales targets.
  • Flexibility: Committing to a 28-hour work week, which often includes the busiest retail times: weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
