2. Job Description: Assistant/Cashier P27
The P27 Assistant is a multi-skilled role where you switch between being a helpful salesperson on the floor and an efficient cashier at the till. You are responsible for ensuring that the store is always “ready for trade,” meaning products are available, correctly priced, and beautifully displayed to inspire customers.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Actively helping shoppers find specific sizes or products and resolving complaints with a positive attitude.
- Cashier Duties: Processing various payments (Cash, Card, Lay-Bys), handling refunds accurately, and ensuring your till balances at the end of the shift.
- Merchandising & Housekeeping: Replenishing stock, ensuring the “Sales Floor” is never empty, and maintaining a clean, organized shopping environment.
- Promotion Management: Staying updated on current “deals” to ensure customers are getting the correct advertised value.
- Risk & Loss Control: Identifying potential shoplifting or fraudulent behavior and ensuring all products are security-tagged according to policy.
