Available Opportunities

Boxer Superstores is recruiting two Catman Space Planners on a permanent basis within the Commercial and Marketing division at Head Office in Westville. Reporting to the Category / Master Data Manager, you will serve as the technical bridge between buyer assortments and store-level visual execution.

Core Responsibilities:

• Planogram Development & Management: Creating generic and store-specific planograms based on buyer target assortments, format clusters, and SKU-level data for new, existing, and revamp store projects.
• Data Integration & Days of Supply: Flushing out stale sales data, importing fresh 6-month sales performance data, and adjusting shelf space allocation based on days-of-supply principles.
• Buyer & Stakeholder Engagement: Verifying all ranged SKUs with buyers, reviewing planograms for category strategy compliance, and submitting layouts to HODs and Category Ops Managers for review and sign-off.
• Master Data & CatmanDW Publishing: Updating product images, dimensions, and classifications within CatmanDW and publishing signed-off store planograms to the Boxer FTP site for supplier retrieval.
• Store Pack Distribution & Project Support: Preparing information booklets and store-specific planogram packs for distribution to store teams, ensuring accurate paper trails for all planogram updates.

Key Objectives

Your performance as a Catman Space Planner at Boxer Superstores will be evaluated by planogram accuracy, project turnaround times, and space optimization efficiency. Within your first 90 days, you will be expected to:

1. Deliver Error-Free Planograms: Develop and publish accurate store-specific planograms containing all buyer-ranged SKUs without dimension or classification errors.
2. Execute Data Imports Seamlessly: Flush out legacy sales data and successfully import 6-month sales data into store planograms to optimize days-of-supply calculations.
3. Streamline HOD & Buyer Sign-Offs: Establish efficient workflows with buyers, managers, and HODs to incorporate feedback and finalize planogram approvals promptly.
4. Maintain CatmanDW Database Integrity: Update product images, dimensions, and new product classifications on CatmanDW to ensure supplier FTP feeds remain fully aligned.
