Henwil Chickens is recruiting a vigilant, detail-oriented Operator – Control Room to join their security and risk management team in Lichtenburg. Operating from the central security control room, you will continuously monitor CCTV surveillance systems, control facility access, log security incidents, and coordinate emergency responses across the company’s premises.

Core Responsibilities:

• Continuous CCTV & Surveillance Monitoring: Operating and monitoring all CCTV camera feeds continuously to detect suspicious behavior, unauthorized entry, theft, or health and safety hazards.
• Access Control & Visitor Security: Controlling and monitoring access to plant premises using automated security systems and verifying authorized personnel entry.
• Incident Escalation & Reporting: Reporting security breaches, equipment faults, safety hazards, and irregularities immediately to security management and relevant operational leaders.
• CCTV Footage Retrieval & Auditing: Reviewing, archiving, and retrieving recorded surveillance footage to assist with formal internal investigations and incident audits.
• Incident Logging & Records Management: Maintaining precise, detailed electronic logs of all visitors, alarm triggers, daily occurrences, and security events.
• Emergency Coordination & Communication: Communicating clearly with floor security guards, site management, and emergency response teams during security incidents or plant emergencies.

Key Objectives

1. Maintain 100% Surveillance Vigilance: Monitor high-risk processing zones, perimeters, and access gates to prevent security breaches and unauthorized entry.
