Role Overview
Adendorff is looking for a young, dynamic individual who is passionate about sales and eager to learn about tools and machinery. You will be part of a team that sources equipment globally, focusing on delivering total solutions and professional service to DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide professional assistance and technical advice to customers regarding tools and machinery.
- Sales & Growth: Drive branch sales by understanding customer needs and conceptualizing product solutions.
- Merchandising: Ensure the store layout is organized and products are displayed according to company standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock taking and stock control procedures to ensure accuracy.
- General Operations: Follow standard retail branch procedures and contribute to the daily upkeep of the store.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Senior Certificate (Matric) is the minimum requirement.
- Experience: Previous exposure to a Retail (Sales) environment is preferred.
- Skills: Experience in Merchandising, Stock Taking, and Customer Service.
- Attributes: Reliable, honest, and a strong team player.
Preferred Advantages
- Technical Knowledge: Having a background or interest in DIY Tools, Hardware, or Machinery is a major plus.
- Ambition: A strong desire to learn and grow continuously within the organization.
